Being a native Angelino I love hearing even the names of the streets evoked. The writing is, as "advertised", wonderful. My first experience of this author and series I have heard so much about. Replace Weinberger with a competent reader!įour stars for the book, two for the reader :( I am disappoointed in the reader but not the book. What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment? Weinberger is BORING, expecially when compared to Michael Boatman! Also, he mispronounces some of the words, such as "proffered." How did the narrator detract from the book? I just started listening, but the reader is so boring and unskilled that I returned it to ! What was one of the most memorable moments of A Little Yellow Dog? I'll be buying the book instead of listening to it! I'M NOT HAPPY!!!! :< Weinberger reads like he has better things to do. He pronouces proffered "pro-offered!" He mispronounced another word earlier in the story, as well, but I cannot remember what it was. Howard Weinberger needs to learn how to read a book out loud! He also needs to work on his pronunciation. I plan on reading or listening to all of Walter Mosley's books. Would you try another book from Walter Mosley and/or Howard Weinberger?
